The RIVER OF BEARS project started in 2011. With generous support from the Rasmuson Foundation, Friends of McNeil River, and the Anchorage Museum, The University of Alaska Anchorage commissioned us to make the first fulldome live-action wildlife film for a planetarium. Travis A. Rector, PhD, at the UAA served as the Executive Producer. The film uses the fulldome 360 degree technology to transport audiences to McNeil River. The show has been extremely well received at the University as well as the Anchorage Museum. The popularity of the show inspired us to make the DVD flatscreen version so that the film could reach an even wider audience.
